Unwritten Plight

For all the things I yearn to say,
Perception stood in my way.
And all the debts I've had to pay,
Have led my plight to fall astray.

My Plight,
The Light,
The constant fight.
From hidden depths.
To Love so Bright.

Beneath bare feet, this path feels right,
Beyond the smell and taste and sight;
To touch the sounds and hold them tight.

Beyond these realms my soul takes flight,
Beyond this Earth,
To Perfect White.

OUR VOICE

I sometimes wonder what it would be like to live in past generations as an Artist. Back when theories were listened to and innovation was alive.

It is still alive

and it's happening around us.

We live in an age where anyone with access to an internet connection can potentially have their voices heard by the masses.

As an Artist, this is an exciting and enticing opportunity. To be able to share one's ideas with the world.

Artists have been renowned for the struggle and frustration of not having our voices heard. The internet has allowed us to realise we are not alone. Not by any means.

Together our voice is more powerful.
Together we can be heard.

Barry Aldridge is THE GODFATHER of YOUTUBE!

Random blog:
So I've been pretty worn out by YouTube the past few days from the bulk of responses I've had for the MAKE ART thing. Anyway, it's all good and I'm almost caught up on messages etc, but it's been tough fitting it all in with work as well. I generally try and reply to all messages and leave comments for new subscribers, but it's been getting a bit crazy of late. I really should be sleeping more, but what can one do, eh?


Anyway, I was watching one of the 172(!!!!) video responses from the arteests of YouTube and one of the linked videos was my friend Barry Aldridge's [no gimmicks] channel recommendation that he did for me. I haven't seen it since he made it, and I've met him a couple of times now so his legendary status is confirmed in my book.

Barry was one of the first vloggers that I came across on YouTube, and the regularity of his videos along with his uninhibited charm got me coming back every day to check in with him. Not to mention that I find a lot of his videos extremely funny [in a good way of course]. I guess it was through him that I found out about the community side of YouTube, and thus, if it wasn't for this man, perhaps I wouldn't be such an active user on the site. Cheers Barry, mate.
